ELEVATE YOUR GAME

Ethan is awesome! He is prompt, communicates well, and is always prepared. He tailors each session to exactly what the player needs and the goals they are trying to achieve. He focused heavily on the mental aspect, which I think a lot of coaches don’t emphasize enough. He can work with all ages and skill levels and has appropriate expectations for each person, whether that’s a beginner, elementary player trying to master the basics or a kid trying to get ready for a showcase. Highly recommend. 

My son, Jack, had the good fortune to have Coach Mcquerry as his coach for 2 years at Pershing Middle School as well as at Strake Jesuit High School last year. I was the parent president of the middle school team and worked closely with Coach Mcquerry. He is a phenomenal coach both with regard to skill and character building. He cares about each player as an individual as well as part of the team. Coach Mcquerry is excellent in encouraging each player’s development in lacrosse. 

I can honestly say that Jack regards Coach Mcquerry as his favorite coach. He has earned that respect over the last 3 years. 

More recently, we’ve started doing group lessons with him, which is a perfect balance between the one on one private lessons and the team practices. Coach Ethan is very successful at giving the kids an endurance workout while still maintaining an ideal level of entertainment and positivity. The kids all very much enjoy him as well as each other.

    We have had the pleasure to work with Coach Ethan now for almost 2 years. We are very new to the sport when we first started working with him, and I noticed immediately how patient and positive Coach Ethan is with the newer players and appreciate the special attention he is able to provide them while also giving the more experienced players the attention they need. After 2 seasons with Coach Ethan, we took our training a bit further and starting doing private lessons with him. Coach Ethan is full of energy and does a phenomenal job keeping the my son entertained and having fun while helping him improve. As my son loves playing defender, Coach Ethan is the perfect fit given his background and the fact that most instructors do not teach defense to the younger players.

I would absolutely recommend Coach Ethan as a Team Coach as well as a private group instructor and most importantly a private lesson instructor. I am confident he can be successful at coaching kids of all skill levels as well as the different positions and we have very much enjoyed and appreciate the hard work and passion he brings to the sport.
